Measure & Calculate

How do I measure my wall?

Measure the width and height of the entire wall. If any section of the wall has varying dimensions, measure the widest or tallest point. Be sure to double-check all edges and the center of the wall to verify your measurements. If there are discrepancies, use the largest measurement. The wallpaper will be printed according to the exact dimensions you provide, plus we will add 1 inch to the width and height to ensure a proper fit on uneven walls. If you are covering a corner, we will also add at least 1 inch to the width for each corner.

How do I know how much Wallpaper I need?

Once you've measured your wall, simply enter those measurements into our ordering calculator, available on each product page. The calculator will determine the exact wall area and provide the total cost for the wallpaper.

How is the price calculated?

The price calculation is straightforward. Based on the dimensions you provide and the type of paper selected, the wall area is calculated and displayed in square feet (sq ft). The wallpaper price is determined by multiplying the wall area by the unit price of the type of paper chosen. Shipping, customizations, and visualizations are all free of charge.

Measuring tips for slanted ceilings or windows

If your wall has a moderately slanted ceiling, you should still measure based on the highest point of the wall. However, if the slant angle is significant, please contact us to find the best solution for you.

Windows are included in the wall area calculation. In rare cases where windows occupy a large portion of the wall (e.g., double glass doors with a slight wall overhang on top), we can print only a partial section of the wall to reduce waste. In such cases, it's best to consult with our team before ordering.

Slanted ceilings and windows do not pose any installation problems for wallpaper. However, keep in mind that they might disrupt certain motifs on the wallpaper. To avoid unforeseen scenarios, we recommend consulting with our team and using our visualization feature to get an accurate idea of how the installed wallpaper will look.

What is the minimum order size?

A minimum of 40 sq ft per wallpaper is required to complete an order.

Will the Wallpaper fit my wall?

Your wall setup might differ from the product images on our storefront, and that's completely okay. All of our wallpapers are custom-designed exclusively for your wall. Our design team will manually rearrange the wallpaper motifs to match the original design concept. This process ensures that you receive a unique product tailored specifically to your wall.

Can I get a preview of my Wallpaper?

Yes! You can receive a photorealistic visualization of your room featuring your chosen wallpaper (or multiple options) to help you decide if it will fit your space as imagined. This service is free of charge. Simply select the visualization option on each product page and follow the steps to submit your request.

What is the visualisation turnaround time?

The turnaround time for visualizations is 1 working day, provided you have submitted all necessary information through our visualization form. If any information is missing or unclear, our team will contact you via email.

How many visualisations may I order for free?

There is no set limit on the number of requests you can send. However, if you are having difficulty deciding between multiple wallpapers, we suggest contacting us. Our team will gladly make a recommendation based on your requirements.


Ordering & Payment

What should I consider before placing an order?

Ensure your wall measurements are accurate before placing an order, as our wallpapers are custom-made to fit your specific dimensions. Incorrect measurements may result in ineligibility for returns. If you have any measurement concerns after placing your order, we are here to help you find a resolution.

How are credit card payments processed?

We accept Visa and MasterCard through Stripe and PayPal. Dreamhood Wallpapers ensures your payment security without storing card details. Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email.

How quickly do you dispatch orders after purchase?

Since our wallpapers are custom-made for each wall, we don't ship orders immediately. However, we ensure a swift process. Each order is processed within one working day and dispatched within 5 working days, aiming to deliver your bespoke wallpaper as quickly as possible.


Packaging & Shipping

How is the Wallpaper packaged?

Secure packaging is our priority. Your wallpaper will be sealed and packed in a moisture and impact-resistant cardboard tube.

How long is the delivery time?

Delivery time varies based on your location. Once your order is complete, allow approximately up to one week for delivery within the US. You will receive an email with tracking information once the carrier takes over your order.

Where do you ship?

We ship all of our products door-to-door within the US, Canada, and other locations in America. All orders are tracked.

Is the delivery door-to-door?

Yes, as long as you provide an accurate address, your order will be delivered to your door.

Can I track my order?

Yes, all orders are sent using tracked shipping. Once the carrier takes over your order, you will receive tracking information via email.


Returns & Exchanges

What Needs to Be Done Before Installation?

Before applying paste or hanging your custom wallpaper, thoroughly inspect the product to ensure there are no production defects. The wallpaper must remain undamaged and unglued to be eligible for a return.

What Should I Do If My Wallpaper Is Damaged?

If your wallpaper arrives damaged, please provide photos of the damaged packaging and wallpaper. Include a detailed description of what happened. This will help us understand the issue and provide a suitable resolution.

What If There Are Imperfections in the Wallpaper?

If the wallpaper has imperfections caused by a faulty print process, please send photos and describe which stripe is affected. We will review the issue and ensure a replacement is provided.

What Happens If the Wallpaper Does Not Correspond to the Specified Dimensions?

If the wallpaper does not match the specified dimensions, we will send you additional stripes or a new wallpaper, depending on the specific case. Please contact us with the details, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

What If I Provided the Wrong Dimensions?

If you provided incorrect dimensions, you are not eligible for a return. However, we are committed to helping you find a solution. Contact us to discuss the best possible outcome to fix the problem, and we will do our best to assist you.
